Trump Demands Biden Remove Attack Ad Over Alleged ‘Suckers’ and ‘Losers’ Comments

On Sunday, Donald Trump called for President Joe Biden to remove an attack ad that features quotes attributed to the former president mocking deceased soldiers, according to Yahoo.

The demand coincided with Biden’s visit to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in France to honor fallen troops—a site Trump reportedly avoided visiting in 2018, allegedly calling it “filled with losers.” Trump has consistently denied making these remarks, first reported by The Atlantic in 2020.

At a rally in Las Vegas, Trump reiterated his denial. “He said I stood over graves of soldiers and I said: ‘These people are suckers and losers, the dead soldiers from World War I,'” Trump stated, accusing Biden of spreading falsehoods. He claimed the ad, which debuted on Friday during Biden’s visit to Normandy, was based on a fabricated story. reported by The Hill.

The ad in question includes the “suckers” and “losers” quotes and audio of Trump mocking the late Sen. John McCain for being captured during the Vietnam War. “I like people that weren’t captured,” Trump had said.

Biden’s X account featured the ad with a caption stating, “Donald Trump doesn’t know a damn thing about service to his country.”

During his Las Vegas rally, Trump accused his political opponents of concocting stories to sway elections. “Unless you’re a psycho or a crazy person or a very stupid person, who would say that, anyway?” he remarked, referring to the controversial comments. He also criticized advisors who suggested he avoid mentioning the allegation, asserting he had to address it. told by NRP

Trump continued his denials on Truth Social, calling the “losers and suckers” claim a “Democrat Disinformation ‘hit job’” and stating, “No President, especially ‘dumb as a rock’ Joe Biden, has done more for our Military than DONALD J. TRUMP. The Military hates Crooked Joe and all of the failures he represents. Take down the Fake Ad, Joe, and stop the unprecedented Weaponization of ‘Justice’ against your Political Opponent.”

In another post, Trump reiterated, “I never said that dead Soldiers are ‘losers and suckers.’ Anytime you see that despicable FAKE statement used, remember that it comes from the FASCIST SCUM that is destroying our Country.”
