Gruesome footage captured the moment two brothers – both drenched in blood – casually walked down a Brooklyn street after both were slashed late Wednesday.
The brothers, 25 and 27, were standing on the corner of Emerson Place and Myrtle Avenue – steps from Pratt Institute in Clinton Hill – around 11:30 p.m., when two other men suddenly attacked them, according to cops and police sources. report from The New York Post.
The younger brother was cut on his head and the older man knifed on the neck, authorities said. The brothers, 25 and 27, were knifed at the corner of Emerson Place and Myrtle Avenue, cops said.
The footage, obtained by FREEDOMNEWS TV, shows the two backpack-wearing brothers sauntering along the sidewalk – one with the side of his face and a large part of his white T-shirt completely soaked in blood.
The other brother appears to have a trickle of blood running down one side of his face. As the brothers pass, another man can be seen standing close to the curb, apparently ignoring the bleeding men. Meanwhile, a woman standing near the storefronts on the block can be seen placing her hand over her mouth in revulsion at the grisly sight.
Both men were taken to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition. A bloody shattered glass bottle and a pair of discarded sneakers could be seen left behind after the attack. The motive for the double-knifing remains under investigation. No arrests have been made. The motive for the slashing – and whether the brothers knew their attackers – were unclear Thursday.
