Sean “Diddy” Combs was not completely alone during the Christmas holiday, despite spending the festive season behind bars.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, the disgraced music mogul received a Christmas Day visit from his son, Justin Combs, while serving his federal prison sentence at Fort Dix Prison in New Jersey. The visit offered a rare moment of family connection for Combs during a difficult chapter of his life.
Combs was convicted in July on two prostitution-related charges, marking a dramatic fall for the once-celebrated hip-hop executive and entrepreneur. Following the conviction, he was sentenced in October to 50 months in prison. While the full sentence spans more than four years, Combs is expected to serve roughly three years behind bars.
Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate records reviewed by PEOPLE Magazine in November indicate that Combs’ projected release date is June 4, 2028. Until then, he remains incarcerated at the low-security federal correctional institution in New Jersey.
The Christmas visit was confirmed by Combs’ representative, Juda Engelmayer, who told the outlet that Justin spent time with his father on Thursday, December 25, 2025. The meeting reportedly allowed the two to reconnect and reflect amid challenging circumstances.
“Justin visited him yesterday,” Engelmayer said.
“They talked and caught up on life with each other. They talked about dealing with the hard times now and reflecting on the past and learning from it and how to do better in the future.”
According to Engelmayer, the father-son visit lasted approximately 90 minutes and carried deep emotional weight for Combs, especially given the timing on Christmas Day. The holiday, often associated with family and togetherness, underscored the importance of the visit for the incarcerated music mogul.
“It meant a great deal [to Diddy], particularly on Christmas, to have family close,” Engelmayer added.
The visit highlights the personal side of Combs’ incarceration, showing that despite his legal troubles and public downfall, he continues to maintain ties with his family. For Justin, the visit appeared to be an opportunity to offer support and share a meaningful moment with his father during an especially reflective time of year.
As Combs continues to serve his sentence, such family visits may remain one of the few sources of comfort and connection, offering moments of reflection as he looks toward an eventual release and a possible path forward.
